This was fixed in svn trunk.
There are other issues with the 1.1 release in Plone 3.0.x versions so
I've been directing people to svn trunk. If you know how to navigate
svn history, the 58005 revision is known to work in Plone 3.0.4.
After revision 58005, svn trunk is experiencing some major changes in
preparation for the next release. If you're feeling brave, try the
brand new half-tested stuff in svn, otherwise, my suggestion is to
wait for the release... hopefully within a week.
