I'm having some trouble with understanding exactly HOW to override the
getMemberInfo in <site_root>/parts/plone/CMFPlone/MembershipTool.py, and also
the
<site_root>/parts/plone/CMFPlone/skins/plone_prefs/personalize_form.cpt
and
<site_root>/parts/plone/CMFPlone/skins/plone_content/author.cpt files.
Do I need to work on top of ny adapther and override the
IMemberShipTool? Should
I just plug it as a Zope2 product? In either case, can anyone point me
towards a
tutorial that teaches how to override another product, starting from the very
packaging? I'm currently reading the "Boring" product creation tutorials found
in http://wiki.zope.org/zope2/DiskBasedProduct but I can't find info on how to
override an existing method.
I basically just want to add elements to the dictionary that the getMemberInfo
exposes and think membrane+ remember is overkill... am I wrong?
If you can shed some light on this, I'd be very thankful.
PS: Am I posting this in the correct list? I think extending a member's
info is
still setting up a plone site, but I may be wrong.
