I am trying to run and install Plone on my local Windows box. I looked all
over the Plone documentation area for any information about how to get
started with the windows installer, and I am not finding anything.

I downloaded this file and ran it:

http://launchpad.net/plone/3.1/3.1.1/+download/Plone-3.1.1.exe

It seemed to complete successfully. I turned on my Plone Controller, and
selected 'Start Plone' under 'Status', and it seems to try to turn on, then
says 'Plone is not running'.

Do I have to install Python first, or will Plone work with what I have
installed here?
Is there complete step by step installation instructions that doesn't assume
any prior knowledge or configuration of my system? I am utterly desperate,
and clearly do not have enough information to do this right, but don't
understand where to look.

Is it even possible to install this just by using the installer?

Do I have to put Plone somewhere where my installation of Apache can 'see'
it?

I would cheerfully read documentation if I just knew where to look to find
it.
