CPeri, My plone setup is similar to yours: Windows 2000 (not 2003), with PloneLDAP products.
Here was my strategy: 1 - Plone install in a folder with no spaces (e.g. c:\Plone_3 instead of c:\Program Files\Plone_3), using the Windows installer 2 - Copying OpenLDAP dlls to c:\Windows\System32 (or to some other folder which is in the PATH - set that in the properties of the My Computer Icon). You can download the OpenLDAP dlls conveniently from http://svn.kmrc.de/download/distribution/ which is the page go to when you follow the link from the python-ldap page. 3 - Install python-ldap using easy_install (easy_install is already installed with Plone by the Windows Installer). Remember to use the --prefix to point to the Python installed by Plone - the default installs to the system-wise Python, I think. 4 - Install PloneLDAP using the "old style products" strategy: get the zip bundle from the PloneLDAP product page at Plone.org and unzip its contents into the Products folder. 5 - After this, restart the Zope service (or start it if not running). I dunno if this is the "right" way to get things done, but it worked for me. After following that algorith, the next step would be going to the Plone acl_users object and adding there a Active Directory Multi Plugin using the ZMI. I didn't need to "install" the Product. Tell me if you need more detailed direction.
