Absolutely. You can install the PloneLDAP product and it works perfectly. Be
careful with the tutorial you follow, though, for older versions of Plone
used a different system for authentication (GRUF or GRoupUserFolder). Now it
uses a system called PAS, to which PloneLDAP is compatible.

Also, you don't need to separately install LDAPMultiplugins and
LDAPUserFolder. These are products installed as dependencies of PloneLDAP.

You can follow this tutorial:
http://plone.org/documentation/how-to/authenticating-with-active-directorybut
they wrote it considering that Plone is on a *-ix system.

If your Plone server is on Windows, the biggest difference is the fact that
you need to install python-ldap in the Python interpreter your Plone
installation is using. Tell me if you need any help for that installation.

PS.: I just remembered that there is an egg called plone.app.ldap at the
Cheese Shop you can include in your buildout and it will install both
PloneLDAP and a neat Plone control panel (PloneLDAP is configured only via
Zope). I haven't use anything more than PloneLDAP, so I can't tell you much
about that.
