I have access to a plone instance installed in windows and there is no buildout.cfg in it. Can somebody post a sample buildout.cfg to try with?
You may either: a) continue to install add-on products in the old way (without buildout, without buildout.cfg) or b) perform a more modern Plone installation that includes a buildout.cfg file and is buildout-ready. <http://plone.org/products/extreme-management-tool/> strongly advises buildout. <http://plone.org/documentation/manual/upgrade-guide/version/upgrading-from-3-x-to-3.2> explains an upgrade procedure, with special notes for users of Windows. Please pay very careful attention to these. Even if your current installation of Plone on Windows is at version 3.2.1, you can think of a buildout-oriented installation of 3.2.1 as an upgrade. Or maybe a cross-grade.
