It's hard to tell what is going on, but I'd probably report this as a 
bug: https://dev.plone.org/plone/newticket (4.0 milestone, I think)

You will also probably want to investigate what is going on on line 3 of 
Products.CMFPlone.patches.unicodehacks

And lastly, not sure if this is the right place for this type of 
question… maybe try plone-users ?
