Hi, Sorry this may be a very simple question. I have been running a plone 2.5 site for quite a while now and have started to investigate upgrading to Plone 3.3.5
I have created a Ubuntu server 64bit 10.04 clean install, downloaded the Plone 3.3.5 tar.gz, unpacked. installed the pre-requ's then installed plone. Using the defaults for everything. (using zeo) The plone instance starts and runs brilliantly. I would now like to add some packages and am looking at the buildout. looking at the readme in the plone tar file. it says it uses a buildout. I can issue the command bin/buildout -n It gives the "so such file or directory" error - sort of expected as the bin folder does not have a buildout command in it! The install appears to have gone smoothly - Do I need to install "Buildout"? if so - where do I get started? of all the tutorials and googling everyone else seems to have the command available? any help greatly appreciated Regards Tony -- View this message in context: http://plone.293351.n2.nabble.com/buildout-missing-tp5221481p5221481.html Sent from the Installation, Setup, Upgrades mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Setup mailing list [email protected] http://lists.plone.org/mailman/listinfo/setup
