Mostly, it looks like you are busy updating a current Plone 3 buildout.cfg and changing some versions to bring it to Plone 4. A few more things need to change though, like using some different recipes. See below for some notes. But I would advise you to create a fresh buildout.cfg. If you have been using the UnifiedInstaller (which it looks like you have) please download the latest one and install that. If you have been using ZopeSkel until now to create a buildout, please update to the latest ZopeSkel: easy_install -U ZopeSkel Oh, and note that for Plone 4 you need python2.6, not 2.4, but maybe you already knew that. > [zope2] > # For more information on this step and configuration options see: > # http://pypi.python.org/pypi/plone.recipe.zope2install > recipe = plone.recipe.zope2install > fake-zope-eggs = true In Plone 4 the [zope2] part is not needed anymore: as of version 2.12, Zope2 is available as a proper python 'egg' and does not need special handling by a recipe anymore. > > [zeo] > recipe = plone.recipe.zope2zeoserver In Plone 4 you must use plone.recipe.zeoserver instead. A look at these two files hopefully helps: http://svn.plone.org/svn/plone/buildouts/plone-coredev/branches/4.0/zeo.cfg http://svn.plone.org/svn/plone/buildouts/plone-coredev/branches/4.0/buildout.cfg Note though that these are buildout files that are used for developing on Plone, so they may contain some lines that are not suited for normal use. I hope this points you in the right direction. -- Maurits van Rees Programmer, Zest Software _______________________________________________ Setup mailing list [email protected] http://lists.plone.org/mailman/listinfo/setup
