Hi, I'm trying an in-place installation of Plone 4 in Win2008 using the
installer, and i get the error that buildout failed because it can't find a
file by a name like cluster-control-script.py. Here is the
http://pastie.org/1128012 error msg

This computer does have internet access.

I've also tried to install to a new directory on the same box and that too
also fails with the same error.

I've tried looking for the PID, as stated on the installer page, and
deleting that process, but i don't have that process running so i don't
think it is that problem.

After the failed installation if i try to manual start the zope service via
windows service manager, it fails.

opening the Plone controller results in an unknown state for status and
unable to connect to the Plone site. Which i think is the obvious outcome
since the service isn't running, but thought it best to include that detail.

after the failed installation, i have also tried going in and updating the
buildout.cfg file to use http://dist.plone.org/release/4.0/versions.cfg
are re-rerunning buildout. This results in some package updates and a
seemingly clean build. However, i'm still unable to start the service.

If i run bin\instance fg the following is my traceback
http://pastie.org/1128003 http://pastie.org/1128003

At some point during my many install attempts i was able to get the instance
running from the command prompt via debug mode and was able to enter the
site, but obviously this isn't how the site is suppose to be run as it was
super slow.

My question is what is the best procedure for upgrading? The plone
documentation i found on plone.org just says using the installer is the best
option, but am i suppose to uninstall my previous plone instance before
hand?
