Hi All,
I am new to plone. I have installed plone in my local machine. I login as an
administator using the url http://localhost:8080/mysitename. With the help
of site set up I used the mail option to add users to the site. For testing
purposes I added myself as a member to the site. I received an email. From
the url that I received in the mail, I tried to login to the site, but below
is the message that I get..
Windows Security
The server localhost at zope requests user name and password.
Warning:
This server is requesting that your username and password be sent in an
insecure manner(basic authentication without a secure connection).
Its not allowing me to login to the site and get site error message.I use
firefox. I am not sure what is the reason behind this. Is windows firewall
blocking me to enter as member? Or using the same machine to login as admin
and a member is that a problem? Is it ok to login as a member using a new
browser while I am already logged in as admin? Is disabling the windows
firewall an option to the solution?
I am a newbie to the CMS concept itself. Any kind of input is greatly
appreciated.
