Hi, this is the first time I write to this list and I'm not sure it's the right place. Two reasons, I don't handle English very well, and I use sextante in Spanish. But i could not find a Spanish mail list. So, I'm sorry if i don't make myself clear: I have the next situation: a shapefile with several polygons representing different type of land (rural, urban, water, etc) now I need to do a different shape with each type: (one shape with every rural polys, one with every urban, etc) the land type is registered y the attributes table. of curse I can select one group from the type field and export, select other group, export, etc. But the variety of land type is increasing and I will need to automatise the task. I thought, the tool "split features" (separar entidades) allow that, but when i proceed, sextante make a different shape when each feature overlapping files with same land type.
