You can complete this task in OADE gvSIG 2010 and gvSIG 1.9/1.10 in several
ways with and without Sextante.
Method 1
Select features*
Use Menu: Layer -> Export to -> Shapefile
This will only export the selected features
Method 2
Select Features*
Open Sextante -> Tools for Vector Layers -> Export Vector layer
This will create a new shapefile and honour the selection you made
Selection*
In OADE use the Menu: Table -> Filter to select ranges.
