Hello! I'm a German student at the University of Potsdam.
I'm currently writing my final project (bachelor studies). The theme is a comparison between ArcGIS and gvSIG. I have a problem with calculating a grid. It takes a very long time with gvSIG (more than 10 hours: Shape to grid >> SEXTANTE Rasterization). In addition, the result is incorrect.
I need a grid with a resolution of 3x3m and a spatial extent of 20x20km. ArcGIS (10) requires only few seconds! Is this a common problem? Is this an user error on my part? I hope somebody can help me! Thank you!
