Hi, Miguel

I was trying nsh proxy support in openflow renderer by sfc104 ovs demo, it
couldn't work, so I checked sfc karaf log and found the below ERRORs, it has
the same ERRORs when I switched back to previous non-nsh-proxy demo, but it
could work as expected, so I think these ERRORs are harmless, but it will be
great if you can figure out why and remove such ERRORs.

Subject: RE: [sfc-dev] genius errors in sfc

Hello,

Yi, never-the-less, the logical-sff related code only gets triggered when the
provisioned sffs don't have dataplane locators - in the
OpenflowClassifierProcessor - [0] - class, check lines 123-125. Depending on
the provisioning of the sff, either the LogicallyAttachedClassifier (which uses
genius) or the BareClassifier (which does not) are used.

This leads me to believe there's something not right with the provisioning. Do
you have more traces of the issue? I can have a look and see if I can be of
help.

Best regards,
Miguel

Hi all,

SFC started using Genius in Carbon, when we introduced the Logical SFF
functionality.

function-chaining.html

Best regards,
David.
