Hello,

Just wanted to let everyone know that the stable/carbon branch was cut last
night for SFC (and the rest of the projects). Any changes intended for Nitrogen
should be on master.

From now on, the only changes allowed in stable/carbon will be for blocking bug
fixes or unit tests. For blocking bug fixes, please first create a Bugzilla
report and send an email to the SFC dev list with relevant information.

For bug fix patches, please put the bug number in the comment heading. Using
"BUG XXXX" is enough, as gerrit will add the link. This [0] is an example
patch. For unit test changes, put "UT <short description...>" in the heading,
like in this patch [1]. The changes should be made on master and cherry-picked
to stable/carbon.

If you have "major" changes planned for Nitrogen, try to hold off until we're
closer to officially releasing Carbon so that the master and stable/carbon
branches dont diverge too much. The more they diverge, the harder the
cherry-pick rebasing/merge conflicts will be.

Thanks,

Brady
