I cannot point you to a good documentation link but at least I could give you some pointers (maybe somebody else can add a good link). I would say that you have three options to configure the chains and the classifier. OPTION 1 ==> You do the config using the REST API of ODL directly. I know Brady created a python script which used that Rest API.
