+ sending to SFC mailing list

Hi Brady,

Currently the release team updates the spreadsheet to track the current
progress of Karaf 4.

At this time, we will be removing all projects, including SFC from Nitrogen
Autorelease and Nitrogen Integration/Distribution. Once the Karaf 4
distirbution stabilizes for kernel projects, we will start adding projects back
into the Nitrogen Release. Please refer to this mailing list for more details
[1]. We plan this activity for end of June (hopefully).

Best Regards,
An Ho

An,

Thanks for sending out the spreadsheet.

I have started the Nitrogen Karaf4 migration for the SFC project, but I dont
understand how to fill in this spreadsheet. What should I fill in for the
"karaf 4 distribution" and "karaf 4 features" columns? For now, I set them both
to "to be added".

In the "k4 dist patch" column, I added the Nitrogen SFC patch to upgrade to
karaf 4 and remove everything karaf 3. Also, in the "notes" column, I added the
Nitrogen SFC bug number and linked it to bug 4219.

Thanks,

Brady

Hi Tomas Cere, Michael Vorburger, Stephen, JamO, Nitrogen Projects,

We would like to kindly share the currently status of Nitrogen Karaf 4
Migration for Tuesday, June 6, 2017 [1]:

* #info We have started tracking Karaf 4 Activity in Nitrogen on the
spreadsheet [2]

* #info We have scheduled TWS on Monday June 12, 2017 to discuss action items
for projects related to Nitrogen Karaf 4

* #action We need confirmation from kernel projects if they have successfully
added features to distribution [3]

* #action We need confirmation that RESTCONF blocker bug has been fixed.

Action Items:

@Tomas @NETCONF, Please confirm if you have moved to Karaf 4 Distribution

@Michael @INFRAUTILS, Please submit patch to add infrautils to autorelease and
karaf 4 distribution.

I'm not clear what exactly this means... The
integration-distribution/features/repos/index/ you referred above in [3]
already has it, see
https://github.com/opendaylight/integration-distribution/blob/master/features/repos/index/pom.xml#L146,
and so does autorelease currently, see
https://github.com/opendaylight/releng-autorelease, so is there anything else
left for me to do here?

@Stephen, Do you know of any issues related preventing projects from moving to
Karaf 4 distribution?

@JamO, Do you know if there are any issues blocking projects from testing on
CSIT related to Karaf 4?

Best Regards,

An Ho
