You need to look into remote-ip which represents the local IP on OVS
side. So it is 192.168.1.6 really.

It looks like it, as the demo is configuring the SFF IP addresses with
same address as the ODL IP address, which would work were they running
on the same place. 

You could change the demo to configure the VM IP address instead if you
know it before hand (should be at odlConfGeneration.py#131). Or run all
on the same place.
