Hello Sunnyuan

For the first problem, please provide the SFC config. If you are
following the SF 101 demo procedure, that's not longer supported in
Carbon.

For the second issue, your installation of virtualbox seems to have
problems. Try to reinstall and get that working first. FYI, I run
virtualbox 5, but I dont think that's your issue right now. I tested
the image and I could run it fine.

Jaime

Subject: [sfc-dev] some problems about sfc demo
Date: Tue, 9 Jan 2018 14:24:43 +0800

Hi Jaime,
I have read some of your replies in the mailing list. I have some
problems about sfc demos, please  help me to solve these problems as
follows:
1. My operator system is ubuntu 14.04 and my ODL distribution version
is carbon;
2. I could create rsp sucessfully and I could see the path-id;
3. When I tried to send the data packet using the command with
:"python3.4 sff_client.py -remote-sff-ip 127.0.0.1 --remote-sff-port
4790 --sfp-id 43 --sfp-index 255" I encountered the problem as follow
pictoure named ‘sfc-error_1’ in my attachment.

4. As I could not send the data packet successfully, I tried to start
the sfc103 demo. When I started the demo in directory ./sfc-stable-
carbon/sfc-demo/sfc103/demo.sh
I encountered the problems as in my attachment named
'sfc103demo0109'.  When I start virtualbox alone, I have encountered
the problem as picture in my attachment named
'virtualboxshowerror0109'. By the way, the sfc version is carbon,and
virtualbox version is 4.3.36, vagrant version is 2.0.1.
I do not know where is the problem.
Please help me solve these problems.
Your reply as soon as possible will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Sunnyuan
