Thanks Vivek!

I have updated the weather wiki with the information.

I renamed the service back to the name in the initial patchset, as “load-balancer” looks more a generic term, and is likely to get confused with other lb implementations.

Thanks,

Faseela

service index to accommodate new service

Hi Faseela,

The table name seems to represent a ‘Load Balancer Service’ and service name is
also not filled in the review.

*L3_LB_SERVICE_INDEX=180*

LoadBalancer is already an existing Openstack Neutron sub-service and it is
easy for folks to confuse with that name.

If you are using it for CoE_KubeProxy, can you please name this service
appropriately.

Please but a brief in the weather item on the responsibility of this service
and how it is different from Openstack LBaaS.

Sure Vivek! That can be done.

Do you see any problem with the change in service index, for L3VPN and ELAN?

This is with the assumption that we will have replay based upgrades in Fluorine, and no need to worry about the older flows in FRM.

Thanks,

Faseela

Hi Faseela,

Can’t we choose tables with higher numbers for COE?

Why Table #30 when space around that is already sparse..

Please choose 180 – 200 as it will help you to expand in the future also if
required.

Hi Faseela,

If you want to insert a service in between existing services, you will need to change service-index for all services after ACL and below.

Please create a weather report for this change and get approval from those
services.

Vivek

Thanks for reminding this Vivek.

We need some service index lesser than L3VPN  and higher than ACL, but I see that all service indices from 0 till 8 are occupied. Any suggestions in this case?

Thanks,

Faseela

Hi Vivek,

We need a new table for COE Service Implementation,

Would like to reserve Table 30 for the same.

Please find the patch for the same below :

Thanks,

Faseela
