Hello, first Thanks Venkat G and Brady Jhonson.
I will try to install the new environment, since my version is no longer
supported.

My pretension is to work with ODL (Because I'm understanding better than
OpenStack) in a scenario with two chains.
I will start to work in another machine with the new versions and as soon as
possible I send you the complete scenario I need.

Thank you so much.

Paulo Roberto.

Assunto: Re: [sfc-dev] Help with ODL-SFC

Paulo,

That demo you mentioned is no longer supported.

A better and simpler approach would be to use the sfc103 demo located in the
SFC source code in sfc-demo/sfc103. There is a README file there with
instructions on how to use it.

There is a patch pending to be merged that fixes some issues with that demo
here: https://git.opendaylight.org/gerrit/79533

Regards,

Brady

Also, Please find the job using docker

(The log includes launching docker and the configuration scripts also)

Hi Paulo,
Thanks for your interest in the SFC Project.
You can try the demo with docker or Openstack. You will need to install OVS
with NSH enabled to do so.
Please let us know the exact demo scenario that your are targetting, so that We
can help out with the configurations.

To start with Openstack, You can refer to this job in ODL Jenkins job log of
test - [0], this test uses only one chain. But, we feel you can test two
chains. Please let us know if you are interested with this deployment.
We can provide more details to help out.

Hello, I'm working with ODL-SFC and using the demo attached in this e-mail.
I already did changes in this model, such as add other SFFs, SFs and so on.
I need to improve my model and I have three main problems that I don't know how
to solve:
(I apologize if my questions obvious, but I already read the documentation
several times and I couldn't get the solution).

1) I need to use VMs rather than mininet for each node of the chain (1 VM for
SF, 1 VM for SFF, 1 VM for ODL, ...), but I don't know what I need to install
and execute on each VM. And about the configurations of the nodes, just to know
the IP of the VM is enough??

2) How to create two chains? In my model I have only 1 chain.

3) How to use NSH to send relevant informations?

If you can help me I will be very grateful.

Thanks all in advance.
