Hi,

There is several point here.

STUN provides public address/port in case your PBX is on your local network and
that a reINVITE occurs.
If your PBX is not on your local network, you do not need STUN.

Furthermore, the two phone must not locate behind the same NAT.
If so, activating STUN make the media streams to be sent to public address on
reINVITE.

Cheers,

Alexandre

Objet: [SFLphone] Problem if enable STUN

Hi All,
I am new to SFLPhone, I was using Zoiper, but it does not support PulseAudio,
SFLPhone is great!!
But I found STUN might not really work. If I enable STUN, I can hear nothing
from peer. But if disable STUN, everything is OK.
My computer locates behind of NAT.

Anyone has idea about this?

Thanks
Joseph
