I've been trying to track down how to add my own signal on the dbus using
the sflphone code. I've gotten as far as understanding that I need to add a
definition to callmanager-glue.h
My goal is to be able to send SIP instant messages without needing a call to
be up. I'm trying to have the sflphone be able to pass sip messages so I
can communicate with a self-built SIP message passing system (such as
logging in/out and passing user information based on SIP logins).

I'm using the "instantMessage" or "im" source code as my spring board but
I'm stymied completely as to how to interact with the dbus code. If anyone
has a site or a tip that could better explain how I can add a signal or
modify one to suit my needs you'd have my eternal good will in the Christmas
spirit. Thanks in advance to anyone who can spare some help!
