Hi David,

Users mailing list would the most appropriate place for such questions. I added
the list as CC of this email.
Here is what I can tell you right now:

1. If you are talking about SIP hardphones, to my knowledge, none. Otherwise,
sflphone is used as is in a few call centers.

2. The latest version 0.9.13 has been released on April 2011. You can expect
between 2 and 4 releases per year.

3. 0.9.13 is known to be quite stable.

4. SFLphone is based on a client/server architecture, through a D-BUS
interface. The GTK client is not mandatory, and you can use a command-line
client instead.

5. I am not sure to understand what you mean. Codecs in SFLphone are dynamic
libraries (.so files).

6. SFLphone do support audio conferencing.

Hope it helps.
Be sure to send emails to mailing list from now on for any technical questions,
as you probably would get more insightful advices there.

Manu.

Hello Emmanuel,

I happen to find your name from sflphone package. I am not sure if it is
suitable to ask you several questions as followings.

If you are not, please forward this e-mail to an appropriate person(s), if you
know.

But I hope to get guidance to port sflphone package on my board.

1. Do you now any commercial product(s) (SIP phones) using this package?

2. How many times has this package been updated per year?

(It seems that the last version is released on Yr 2009.)

3. From the homepage, this package seems to have pretty many open issues.

Do you know how these issues have been fixed and released?

4. Is it possible to remove and GUI and use terminal based commands to make
calls?

5. How can I use external hardware codec instead of soft code?

6. Does this package support 3-way conference call?

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

David J. Choi
