Hi John, To fix unmet compilation dependencies, you can try to use:
sudo apt-get build-dep sflphone-client-gnome sflphone-common *if you already have sflphone in one of your repository. This should install the necessary packages. You can also try our Debian repository. Take a look at our website at http://www.sflphone.org There is a link to the download page http://sflphone.org/download/source-code and http://sflphone.org/download/stable-release Here are the build instruction https://projects.savoirfairelinux.com/projects/sflphone/wiki/BuildInstructions Remember to compile pjproject before sflphone. This is needed to bypass bugs in pjproject build system. Do not use any GCC or make options, even -j2, it will fail. Good luck! ----- Original Message ----- From: "John A. We have finally turned some attention to getting SFLPhone work in our environment and have succeeded in connecting to our Asterisk PBX. The clients are all Debian Squeeze running sflphone 0.9.8 from the repository. It looks like we need a newer version, e.g., the ability to have the phone ring through the speakers but the call audio through the headsets is a requirement and it looks like that was introduced with 0.9.9. I tried downloading the 0.9.13 source and rebuilding Squeeze deb files but there are too many failed dependencies. Where can I find the source for 0.9.12 and 0.9.9 to see if those will build? When I click on the More . . . link on the source code download page, I am brought to a login screen. Of course, if there are Squeeze debs for a newer version, that would save me lots of grief. Does anyone know of any?
