Sure, I was following up my previous thoughts on having a simple Contact List rather than the integrated kddressbook.
You may recall that I do not use kaddressbook and can place a call direct from my own addressbook already. I simply hand made a Vcard in its simplest form and placed it in a Vcard folder. I then fired up akonadi and pointed the Personal Contacts to that folder. Bingo, it worked. The Vcard looks like this: BEGIN:VCARD VERSION:4.0 FN: My Client Name TEL;TYPE="work,voice";VALUE=uri:tel:+44 (0)1234 5678910 END:VCARD it is called card01.vcf I am a bit worried about the Warning Message "Don't create or copy vCards inside this folder manually, they are managed by the Akonadi framework!"
