Hello Mark, Can you try the workaround specified in my previous mail? http://lists.savoirfairelinux.net/pipermail/sflphone/2013-February/001349.html and see if you can get the information we are seeking to we can fix the issue? There is many possible causes for the issue. It can be KDE, SFLPhone-KDE, SFLPhone-daemon, DBUS, Akonadi, NetworkManager and possibly more. As far as I currently know about this issue, the application MetaObject seem to throw a fatal error before the application even start to load. It never happen under normal circumstances, but happen around 90% of the time on startup (not always, indicating some kind of race condition). So, enough, for the technical part of the problem. I only said that to show that there is no "easy" solution to this unless I get more data to pin point the problem source. I already tried increasing the timeouts and some delays with no results.
But, as I said in the previous mail, there is an easy workaround that seem to work well enough while I am looking into this. Thanks for using SFLPhone-KDE! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mark Edworthy" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Thursday, February 28, 2013 7:13:14 PM Subject: Re: [SFLphone] [Technical] Problems with Autostart Hi, I am just wondering if you have found a solution for this? I have just found this exact problem.
