Hello David,

We currently have no clients with direct Thunderbird integration. This
situation could eventually change.

However, for now, you can still sync the two together once in a while(1). The
KDE client technically support
alternate contact data sources, but only Akonadi (KAddressBook) is currently
implemented. I know kind of
defy the purpose, as you would still have the fat Akonadi server and half of
KDE running in the background.

Do you plan to Switch to the Gnome client or keep the KDE client? The Gnome
client currently only support
Evolution/Gnome(3) contacts data sources. Again, the Gnome client also
technically support alternate
contact sources, but only one is currently implemented. The Gnome client also
lack the kind of contact
integration you have in the KDE client.

Subject: [SFLphone] Thunderbird Integration

I'm in the process of switching from KMail back to Thunderbird, but I am
wondering whether SFLPhone can integrate with the Thunderbird
addressbook as smoothly as it does with the KAddressBook. If so, I may
just abandon KDE altogether, in favor of the Mate Desktop.
