Hello Eric,

Before switching to Linphone, can you give us a little more details on why it
failed? We test our packages quite often and they seem to work fine. As of last
week, the Debian packages also worked as expected. Can you give us the failed
build log?

Thanks, Emmanuel

Subject: [SFLphone] [Technical] SFLPhone fails to build/install on Debian.

Eric Dykstra sent a message using the contact form at
http://sflphone.org/contact.

Hello,

I have been using SFLPhone for quite some time. Recently, it stopped working.
I tried to update it with 'apt-get update' but that failed with repository
errors. Then I tried to install it from Debian repos. That failed. Then I
tried to build it from sources. That failed.

The many types of errors I ran into show me you don't run it on Debian at
all. I think you'll find if you develop for Debian, it will run on Ubuntu.
However, developing on Ubuntu does not mean it will work on Debian.

Unfortunately, I guess I need to switch back to LinPhone.

Thanks,

Eric
Eric
