Using the last version of SFL daemon (and kde client), I have a strange behavior using pulsaudio. Whatever the input/output I choose during a call, my preferences are not preserved for the next one. For playback it always uses my internal card when I specified my (USB) headset speakers. And for the voice it uses my headset microphone BUT through the monitor device...
First I thought it was a problem with the underlying pulseaudio/alsa but Skype, which now use only PA, don't give me this result. My knowledge of PA is very thin but I suspect SFL to "ask for" specific input/output characteristics (ex. a specific sample-rate) and PA would have no choice that to fall-back in unwanted devices.
