Hello Aaron,

What you describe is a known issue. SFLPhone does not currently handle
synchronous voicemail count requests. Please note that you can still call your
voicemail number or extension and this will work as expected. We have yet to
investigate this issue further and it likely wont be part of the next release.
We apologize for the inconvenient caused by this issue.

Regards,
Emmanuel Lepage

Subject: [SFLphone] SFLPhone, Asterisk, voicemail count

I'm not quite the sysadmin here at my office, but I wear many hats and our
sysadmin has me trying to find a new softphone for our sales team. We
settled on SFLphone however we can't seem to get it to display the current
number of voicemails.

We are running our own VoIP server (Asterisk) and previously used Bria 3.
Bria displays the current number of voicemails without issue. SFLphone
(1.4.1) has a voicemail number configured which makes a voicemail icon
appear, but no count of current unheard messages. All of my research
indicates this should be possible, but we have hit a dead end as far as
getting it to work. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
