Hello Nathan,

What is your SFLphone version and a which are you using? SFLphone 1.4.0 had
many transfer related issues that have been fixed in 1.4.1. How to properly use
transfer depend on which client you are using and the type of transfer to wish
to perform. Transfers can either be "cold transfer" where the transfer will
call the new peer and then forward the call. The second one is "attended
transfer", this is when you wish to transfer one call to another existing one
(on hold). The first one is performed using the transfer button. The Gnome
client will let you type directly in the canvas. The KDE one display an overlay
with more options. As for the attended transfer, it is performed by drag and
dropping a call on another. Please notify us if the transfer is still not
working in 1.4.1.

Subject: [SFLphone] Transferring calls

Hello List,

What is the proper way to transfer a call? I have clicked on the
transfer button and dialed the extension I want to transfer the call to
but nothing happens.
I've thought of clicking on the finish call button after doing the
transfer routine above but I wasn't sure if it would hang up on the
caller.

Thank you for your assistance.

Nathan
