I have recently installed SFLPhone, and registered a Voip discount
account. When I place calls I am unable to hear the receiver or even
hear his/her ringtone and the connecting/waiting to be connected tone.
My laptop is producing sound just fine. I also plugged my headphones
but could not hear anything. The mic and speaker volumes are at maximum.
Can you please advice as to what may have gone

Hi. Please let us know the distribution you're using.
the first problem i found when i install SFL-Phone was about what device
is in use. You can change it simple:
go to Edit => Prefs => Sound
And select the correct Input and ouput devices.
