Hi,
My microphone did not work in sflphone-kde-1.4.1 on Kubuntu 14.
I tried Peter Hahn's suggestion but it did not work.
I disabled all codecs except G722. This worked for me.

Hello,
I'm new to the list. I subscribed because I had the very same problem as
in this older Post below and wanted to ask you about this.
However in the meantime I found the reason and a workaround myself and
wan't to share in case it might be helpful or in case someone with
better insight can shed more light on the exact problem.
At least on my system, it seams to be a problem with the G722 codec. If
I disable G722 codec in the audio settings page of the settings page of
my SIP account, everything is fine.
System is Ubuntu 14.04 with sflphone 1.4.1 from the PPA. I tried this
both with PulseAudio and Alsa.
