I have a user of SGD that wants to run SGD from his PowerBook G4.
He has installed the Native Client for OSX and when he tries to run
it a message appears "Sun Secure Global Desktop Native Client for Mac
OSX can't start the X11 server. Please ensure X11 is installed on your
system."
Is there anyone here that has seen this problem before that could
point me
in the right direction ?
X11 is not installed by default on Macs. If you have MacOSX 10.2 go to
http://www.smartsoft.de/Downloads and download X11USerFor....dmg. For
newer MacOSX versions X11 is either downloadable from www.apple.com or
an optional package on the installation DVD.
We are using the SGD native client on Macs and it works real great!
