Dear SGD-Users,
I am runnng SGD 4.31 in a Solaris 10 11/06 x86
non-global zone. Users should be able to start
applications on different remote servers running
Centos 5, both AMD64.
Therefore I created an object with the following
attributes:
$ tarantella object list_attributes --name
".../_ens/o=organization/cn=Mathematica"
Attributes for .../_ens/o=organization/cn=Mathematica:
Name: Mathematica
accel: 1
app: /opt/bin/mathematica
appserv: o=organization/cn=XXXX
clipboardlevel: 3
compression: automatic
delayed: 1
depth: 16
displayusing: multiplewindows
empage: xde.html
endswhen: nowindows
euro: unicode
execution: automatic
force3button: 0
height: 480
icon: calculator.gif
interlaced: automatic
keepopen: 1
loadbal: default
lockkeymap: 0
login: unix.exp
maximize: 0
maxinstances: 3

middlemouse: 100
objectclass: scottaxapplication,scottaapplication,top
quality: best
resumable: never
roottype: default
scalable: 0
securityextension: 1
share: 1
ssharguments: -X
unixaudiopreload: 0
width: 640
windowclose: notifyclient
winmgr: /usr/openwin/bin/twm
The connection method is ssh. telnet is disabled by
default. 2 other applications (Matlab and Maple) where
created as duplicates of this object and do run
without any problems.
Does anybody know why Mathematica exits immediately
after starting and how to prevent it? The hint in the
Administrator Guide to set "--keepopen true" does not
fix it.
Bye,
Andreas
