Hi David,
Three ways to get around this:
1. Change PermitRootLogin to yes in /etc/ssh/sshd_config and then
restart the ssh service using "svcadm restart ssh"
2. On the Solaris 10 console, as root, type
"/opt/tarantella/bin/tarantella objectmanager". This would start OM
and then you can make your changes.
3. Change the Object Manager connection method using command line [one
line]:
/opt/tarantella/bin/tarantella object edit \
--name "o=Tarantella System Objects/cn=Object Manager" \
--method telnet
Thanks a lot for the info. I can log in with ssh to this machine (as
root), so it's probably not option one. I did it anyway. Option2 is a
no go since the machine is remote. I also tried Option 3. Now I get:
Starting the application
Connecting to Protocol Engine...
Password:
su: I am sorry
login:
ErrTransportNotAvailable
connect(10,85.158.X.X:23: (146) Connection refused
Standard error of script process:
Third tier output log:
Password
su: I am sorry
Any idea?
Thanks,
Andreas
