I grabbed an old Sun Blade 150 off the shelf here, threw a fresh
install Solaris 10U4 on it and successfully installed SGD from the same
downloaded package, so it doesn't look like I have a corrupted
download. Wondering if maybe it's a recent patch causing the problem
though? Blade 150 is NOT current on patches (trying to get it there to
continue this line of testing, but updatemanager on it is refusing to
cooperate, keeps hanging at "installing patches" and never DOES
anything).
Hmm .. probably best to get it current on patches.. if you're in between patching there could be changes to libs that apache depends on, etc. I'd get the box stable/unchanging first. The errors you've turned up really look quite unusual and for what it's worth I've never run into any of them.. but I'm not using comparable hardware.
