Brian,
Presumably there is an associated 404 error message in the apache
access log.
(/opt/tarantella/webserver/apache/*/logs/access.log)
What resource is the web server telling us is not available?

It didn't create a setup.log, but did spew a lot of stuff
to the
terminal. Lots of error messages during the attempted first start
(config) of Tarantella, but none of them made any sense or seemed to
hurt anything. Examples: /opt/tarantella is a file, not a directory
(huh? It put files there fine) : out of drive space (definitely NOT
true!) : something about printer setup script failure : http port
in use
(not true, nothing on port 80 or 443 on this box)...
Most notably, there are NO errors at the end of the list
around
the
HTTP/404 failure!
