Hi Ayman, apologies for the delay .. I just saw your email now. The reply was to the alias and not directly to me, and it got buried in a folder with other tech aliases I'm subscribed to. Going down the path of making SGD clients connect by IP rather than DNS name is most likely going to cause a lot of pain for you and make things a lot more work. e.g. what happens if/when that IP isn't accessible from some client subnet? What about when you decide to secure client connections with SSL certificates? We really recommend using a DNS name and configuring it with the command you used below, replacing <IP address> with the DNS name registered for SGD access. This is stated as a base requirement for using the product. Any attempt to use IP might mean you're not supported. Curtis.
