I've got a couple users that frequently like to copy chunks of
StarOffice documents from the server and paste them into local MS Word
documents. The results so far have been somewhat mixed.
- 1 particular user can successfully do that with Office 2000, but NOT
2003.
- Another user can't get it to do anything other than unformatted text
at all.
- My experimentation duplicates the second user's experience, with the
additional note that I lose formatting while pasting into a local
OpenOffice document as well.
Is formatted copy/paste a supported operation? If so, what am I
missing?
