we have just setup an SGD server (Solaris 10 machine offering some
unix
apps) and connected to it via ttwebtop from a Sun Ray and via the
Native
Mac client from a Mac. Everything seems to work fine except the
special
german characters ä,ö,ü,... They are simply ignored or when typed in
ObjectManager we get a ? instead.
How can this be fixed? Do we need to set a locale or the like?
Odd that you posted this - we've just come across a keyboard problem
too. Using a Mac (OS X) to connect to an XP desktop via SGD 4.4, two of
my colleagues have found that there isn't a key on the keyboard that
will give you a \ - bit of a problem if you try to map a drive etc! If
there a fix/workaround for this?
Same for @! Sending mails is quite difficult without access to this
char. :-(
