Kevin,

Web Accelerators or Reverse Proxies do not work for AIP.

Currently the only way to speed up the AIP performance is by using SSL-acceleration (or SSL-offloading) for secure AIP connections. We have used multiple SSL-accelerators (Like SUN Application Switches (N2000 series and Alteon) with no big or strange problems.

To speed up AIP itself is not possible, it is 'fast' by default. But you can think of changing the application settings to use less bandwidth like:
- Decreasing colours
- Decreasing the application size (canvas)
- Disable sound
- Disable CDM
- Disable Printing

Furthermore speed up the applications itself. Remove stuff on the session which you do not need like (all Microsoft related_:
- Paperclip during Office apps (this is an old one, but shows where to look at)
- Disable spell/grammar check
- Disable network icon in notification area (next to the clock on the bottom right hand side)
- Use a classic theme without shading, fading etc.

Just a few hints, Greetz,

Remold

hi experts!

we are looking for a solution which can help improving AIP porformance
for remote user(other country).
If we are using web accelerator or ip application accelerator, will it
help improvin porformance ?
if someone has got any experience regarding web accelerator or others,
please give me some advice.
it will be appropriated.

Thanks,
