You can.
SSGD has the possibility to assign applications to user and groups
based on LDAP users and groups.

This means that you can create a group in Active Directory and use
that group to assign a particular application. The same can be done
for single users and even based on particular attributes of a user
(like: l, co, physicalDeliveryOfficeName, preferredLanguage, etc)
From the top of my had you can use that option also when using
Active Directory authentication, but I know for sure that you can
change the Acitive Directory authentication to LDAP authentication
for Active Directory servers.
