Hi,
We are running SGD version 4.41 on solaris 10, with in a zone. We are
having frequent crashes of x-applications. This is occurring on both
Windows xp/vista as well as ubuntu 8.10.
The user starts the application and works on it through out the day,
then it suddenly disappears. They go back to webtop and the application
is no longer running. The applications are configured for application
Resumability for 5760. So it looks like some interaction with SGD is
killing it. We do not have the option to resume it.
I was able to reproduce this on ubuntu by running an xterm with prstat
running in it. I started it 4 days ago and would let it run all day,
pausing it at the end of the day. When I went to resume it this
morning, it just died. I was able to increase client side logging and
captured this:
Info 49 2009/06/23 09:55:14 Launch
.../_ens/o=applications/cn=xterm (app0) switching state from Connected
to Session suspended.
Info 50 2009/06/23 09:55:14 Sending SOAP AIP/V request
(ns1:applicationsEnded) with Message ID N/A to Server
This is what I pulled from the server side logs:
