Ok, let me clarify a couple things here. There is a thing called a "Certificate of Live Birth." That is a document which verifies that a human being, of such and such age, and being the son or daughter of adult parents exists. What a "Certificate of Live Birth" does is allow the state to make a record of a human being as having actually been born and living within the state. Please note, that a "Certificate of Live Birth" DOES NOT state where the child was born, the name of the hospital in which the child was born, nor the doctor which helped deliver the child. THAT information can only be contained in a BIRTH CERTIFICATE which the Governor of Hawaii continues to keep secret in a vault. In that article at the website you gave me ( http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/born_in_the_usa.html ) please read it carefully: Update Nov. 1: The Associated Press quoted Chiyome Fukino as saying that both she and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have personally verified that the health department holds Obama's original birth certificate. If that is so, then why don't they show "Obama's original birth certificate" it to the public? That article also says: Fukino said she has "personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has Sen. Obama's original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures." Again, if this is so let's see it! The catch is, they don't want to show it. Bottom line: A "Certificate of Live Birth" DOES NOT provide proof that Obama is a "natural born" citizen. If Obama's BIRTH CERTIFICATE showed him as being born in Hawaii then he would be a natural born citizen....but they won't show that document to the public. My guess is that his BIRTH CERTIFICATE shows Obama as having been born in Kenya.
