Sustaining Democracy in the Digital Age

The Knight Commission held an event on recommendations for sustaining 
democracy and maintaining information needs. It featured three panel 
discussion on the three overriding objectives needed to begin a national 
dialogue on the Commission's findings and recommendations.

President and CEO, John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, presents 
welcoming remarks. · Walter Isaacson, President and CEO, The Aspen 
Institute, introduces the Knight Commission. · Knight Commission Co-chairs 
Marissa Mayer and Theodore B. Olson announce the release of the report, 
"Informing Communities: Sustaining Democracy in the Digital Age" · 
Presentation of the Report to Government Officials with brief responses: o
