on November 22, 1963 and the transfer of the presidency from John F Kennedy 
to Lyndon Johnson. Mr. Gillon utilizes newly declassified archival sources 
to explore the first hours of the Johnson administration. This event is 
hosted by Barnes & Noble in New York City. About the Authors Steven Gillon 
Steven Gillon is a history professor at the University of Oaklahoma as well 
as resident historian at the History channel. He is the author of several 
books, including The Pact: Bill Clinton, Newt Gingrich, and the Rivalry that
