So this means that you can receive calls *by enabling port forwarding to
your PC) but you can't initiate them ???

Thanks - Shaun

Subject: [ShareTheNet] Testing H323 Module

I've been trying the H323 module. The good news is that I can get it to
work with Net Meeting, MSN Messinger, etc.

I have not been able to initiate the call. The normal sequence is that
the Net Meeting starts and a small "dialing" window opens which
eventually drops you into the active meeting. This works fine if the
outside person starts the meeting. I have not been able to start a
meeting from behind STN. When I try it, Net Meeting starts, but the
"dialing" window never appears.

I've left the STN box running all the time. After being up for several
days and passing e-mail and web browsing successfully, an initial
attempt to start a meeting ended with the STN box apparently crashed,
that is to say, web browsing stopped working and the keyboard commands
produced no results either. Rebooting and reloading patches fixed this.

I can't be sure where my problems arise. Net Meeting and associated
applications seem inclined to start multiple copies of Net Meeting. Then
a reboot seems to be the only fix.

I hope this helps.
